Hip Hop Single Sales: Rihanna, G-Eazy & Wiz Khalifa

This week on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart, Rihanna’s latest single “Work” takes the top spot, knocking G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I” down to #2. Elsewhere this week, Wiz Khalifa’s latest single, “Bake Sale” with Travi$ Scott, comes in at #3 and lastly, Drake’s “Hotline Bling” falls from #4 to #8 following a 27% decrease in sales.
Rihanna Takes #1 Spot
Rihanna’s “Work,” the lead single off the singer’s recently released ANTI album, lands at #1 on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart this week. The single, which features Drake, sold 126,105 units during the seven days leading to January 28.
G-Eazy Slips To #2
Despite an 8% increase in sales, G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I” slips to #2 this week as a result of the previously mentioned storm in sales by Rihanna. Nevertheless, the single still sold an impressive 64,815 units during the seven days leading to January 28, taking its total sales since its official release to 459,122 copies.
Wiz Khalfia’s “Bake Sale” Comes In At #3
Wiz Khalifa lands at #3 this week for his newest Travi$ Scott-assisted single, “Bake Sale.” The cut, which is produced by TM88, Juicy J, Lex Luger, DJ Spinz, and Crazy Mike, sold 42,683 units during the seven days leading to January 28 and features on Wiz’s recently released album, KHALIFA.
