KANYE WEST ignited a wave of boos at his own show overnight when he announced he would have voted for president elect Donald Trump…had he actually voted.
The hip hop superstar was in the flow during his Saint Pablo Tour date show in San Jose where he delivered a lengthy political speech, reiterated his own plans to run for POTUS in 2020 and talked about his fondness for some elements of Trump’s campaign.
West lit up social media with his rant, which one onlooker described as a “surprisingly not anti-Trump speech. “I told you I didn’t vote,” Kanye admitted to the SAP Center audience. “But if I voted, I would have voted on Trump."
The comments were captured and shared on Twitter (see below) and many in the house offered their thoughts on Kanye’s surprise presidential choice (not all of it positive).
West is touring in support of his seventh solo studio album, The Life of Pablo.
