O.T. Genasis now has two platinum plaques in the bag. His Young Dolph-featuring single "Cut It" has officially moved 1 million copies.
O.T. Genasis has earned his second platinum plaque. His breakout hit, "CoCo," released in late 2014, was declared platinum in February of this year. The certification has now been awarded to "Cut It," released in September 2015. The single features Young Dolph and was included on Genasis' Rhythm & Bricks mixtape. The song was most popular this summer, peaking at No. 35 on Billboard's Hot 100 in early July. At the present time, the music video has amassed nearly 140 million views on YouTube.
There were definitely those out there who thought O.T. would be a one-hit wonder. With two platinum records, do you think he's here to stay? He's yet to drop his debut album. Earlier this month, O.T. dropped his first project since Rhythm & Bricks.
Congrats to O.T., Young Dolph, and the Conglomerate family.
